Hi, I’m Kev, the Director and lead electrician at Kevi Ltd (Kev’s Electrical Verification & Inspection).
Based right here in Elmstead Market, I provide dedicated electrical testing, fault finding, and installation services across Colchester and Essex. But Kevi Ltd isn’t just about wires and consumer units; it’s about bringing a totally different level of trust, communication, and flexibility to the trade.
Built Around Your Life, Not Mine – As a 47-year-old father of three, I know firsthand exactly how chaotic family life can get. I know that an electrical fault doesn’t politely wait for a Tuesday morning, and I know that taking time off work to wait for a tradesman is a massive headache.
That’s exactly why I structured Kevi Ltd’s working hours differently. To make life easier for my customers, I offer a highly flexible working pattern, actively taking on jobs in the evenings, on weekends, and on Mondays. You shouldn’t have to disrupt your whole life just to get a reliable professional to your door.
Off the Tools & On the Pitch – When I’m not tracking down electrical faults or running Kevi Ltd, you’ll usually find me on the sidelines. I manage and coach a local youth football team here in the area.
Running the squad (and keeping all the parents in the loop!) takes a surprising amount of planning, clear communication, and absolute patience—skills that translate perfectly to running a reliable electrical business. It’s a privilege to coach the boys, and it’s just one more way I stay closely connected to the community Kevi Ltd serves.
